As a woman, finding your person is very often a difficult task. And sometimes it feels like the dating pool is filled with too much garbage.
So we sat down with relationship experts, including husband, wife, marriage counselor, to find out what women want in a man.

In most case, it is not about height, age, weight, job, or bank account, but most men fail to understand that, and that’s the problem.
So without further ado, let’s look at what women want most in a man in a relationship:

This is a big one! Honesty is the core and the basics in a relationship. Telling the truth to your partner is a mark of respect. It shows transparency, makes your partner feel safe and trusted with you.

Being honest also means being able to say things that may bother you in the relationship. We all want to hear how great we are, of course, but we can also benefit from making some slight adjustments in how we do things. This is where honesty and truth from someone you love, care and trust will help you make the small changes that can make your life a better place.

A woman needs to feel that she can honestly communicate, be herself, and feel emotionally safe.  She needs to feel that you will protect her from physical harm.

There are also physical and financial factors that can appeal to a woman’s sense of safety. You don’t need to be a millionaire, but she does need you to make her feel secure in that department as well. Sometimes a woman will trade one of these comforts for another in her relationship.

In a Relationship, respect means recognizing our own worth and the worth of your partner. When we respect each other in a relationship, we are able to rise above pettiness, jealousy, and cruelty.
Respect is showing someone extra special attention, or high regard, based on a desire to show them how highly they are valued by someone.

When we respect ourselves, we are able to transcend insecurity, defensiveness, and fear. And respecting both ourselves and our partners enables us to build strong, lasting and mutually supportive relationships.

Love is probably what women want in a man the most. There are so many ways a man can show love to his woman.

  • Nice loving words.
  • Romantic pictures.
  • Touching her hand, hairs.
  • Being caring, supportive, understanding.
  • Being here for her when she needs him.

Sometimes the smallest things have the biggest meaning.
A man should remind her every day,  that he loves her.

Being in a good and healthy relationship means also being with someone who is a first and foremost a friend.
Based on many researchers, it is a very important factor in maintaining a good and lasting relationship.

Emotional maturity and growth are what women want from men more than anything else. There is no arguing with that.
Women’s appreciate mature men who can sit comfortably with their emotions and be open to discussing issues without yelling, arguing or running away.

Women want a man who is sacrificial and knows how to love and care in a way that makes them feel valued.
In a Relationship, it is absolutely vital for a Woman to feel comfortable at opening herself, being transparent and honest.
Listening to her helps her let go of strong and sometimes negative feelings, that might be holding her down.

Women would like to have a deep and healthy relationship with a man who has integrity. It is one of the fundamental values that women seek in men.
A man with integrity is a man who keeps his word, who does not make promises that he can not keep. And of course, someone who does not keep secrets.
A woman wants a man who follows his moral or ethical convictions, a man who will do the right thing in all circumstances.

Everyone likes a good laugh, laughing is good for health and the soul. It is a powerful antidote to stress, pain, and conflict.

According to recent studies, when it comes to a romantic connection, laughing can really seal the deal. Women are very sensitive to any indicators of intelligence AND humor.
When men use humor to demonstrate their intelligence, it works. Why? Because the funniest people are also consistently the smartest.

Women want to have fun and enjoy life, and a guy with a good sense of humor never gets boring.
He is spontaneous and will pull almost any stunt for a laugh. It makes things exciting and interesting.

Initially, women are drawn to men based on attraction, chemistry is essentially defined by mutually enjoyable interactions with a person.
A woman wants to have great conversation, exchange opinions, make each other laugh.
She wants to feel the desire to make love and to be impatient to see him again.
It might not feel like it right away and that’s totally ok, sometimes Chemistry does take a little while to establish.

A woman wants a man who can make her feel special, desired, loved and cherished. She wants to know that she is being thought of.
Sometimes it’s the little things a man does that makes a woman feel good. Like telling her how beautiful she looks, how great and smart she is.
A woman just wants to feel like a princess. For her to feel able to make her man feel like a prince.

Every woman loves a little romance. Being romantic doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive.
In fact, some of the most romantic things cost the least amount of money and are really quite simple. Sometimes, even a few nice, loving words are good enough.
A woman wants a man who will surprise her, catch her off guard with a romantic dinner, roses, hand-written love poem that will show her just how much he loves her.

One of the things that people often don’t understand about relationships is that everybody needs their space at one point or another.
The idea of space is often associated with negative feelings when in fact, time apart is incredibly healthy. It is also critical to the success of lasting relationships.

By having space to do your own thing and pursue your own interests, you’re able to be an individual again, not just part of a whole.
Emotional and physical space from your partner nurtures the relationship because it provides a sense of independence for both.
It makes your relationship healthier and stronger because it allows it room to grow and flourish.
